Yah! I love my PaceTwin but it has had a checkered past with bugs in the software, the one existing bug which I still encounter is 0 second recordings. Initial reports seem to indicate this problem is resolved in the new update, woohoo! <img src='http://blog.flexion.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':-D' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The following topics at Digital Spy and AVForums are discussing the new update&#8230;</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=295735" target="_blank">Pace Twin Problems &#8211; Part Three &#8211; for 2005 software</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=214263" target="_blank">Pace Twin Update&#8230;</a></li>
</ul>
<p>Whilst reading about this new PaceTwin update I also found mention of TwinRip which enables you to extract recorded programs from the PaceTwin hard disk. I have yet to test it, but it looks very interesting and a Linux version is also available <img src='http://blog.flexion.org/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<ul>

<li><a href="http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135809" target="_blank">TwipRip</a></li>
</ul>
<p>You can check for upcoming software updates for other Freeview receivers on the <a href="http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/download_schedule.pl" target="_blank">Engineering Channel Download Schedule</a> page.</p>
