I must Blog more

I rarely update my blog which is stupid because I add and amend stuff on my Wiki on a daily basis and I should really post updates on the stuff I put in there. So I am going to start posting to my blog more often, I’ll be starting later with details about how to install Adobe AIR on 32-bit and 64-bit Ubuntu Hardy and Intrepid.

I have seen adobe Air and yet to find anything more usefull to say compared to command line.
I suppose I would install it to get people interested in Linux and join our local Lug.

Hopefully you’ll find something worth reading here, if not now then in the future ;-)

As for Adobe AIR, I have run Thwirl to test that AIR was installed correctly. I have subsequently ditched Thwirl in favour of Gwibber. I have also tested AIR by installing the BBC iPlayer Desktop for Linux, which works fine on 32-bit Ubuntu but is somewhat flaky on 64-bit. Due the the DRM restrictions with the content downloaded via BBC iPlayer for Linux I still prefer to use iplayer-dl. See my BBC iPlayer wiki page for more details.
